Daily Prayer for November 10th, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you!
You said to the wind and the sea, “Peace! Be still!” and “there was a great calm.” You are the first among the nations and in the earth—the maker of all. You have great plans for us who love and trust you; therefore, please help me be still, and know that you are God. You are at work right now in this nation and in me/us. I plead with you, bring justice, and sincere unity to this world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
3 You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
39 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
