Daily Prayer for June 1st, 2020
Good morning, God—thank you for this first day of June! 🙂
Thank you, especially that I am born again to a living hope through the blood of your son, Jesus, filled with joy and peace in believing. You are my/our only hope in this dying world. Keep me strong. Let me take courage! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Born Again to a Living Hope
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
they shall walk and not faint.

11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
