Prayer for May 19th, 2026

Good morning, God —thank you!

Please let there be sounds of deep reverence or resting in your presence. Throughout the scriptures, silence is portrayed not as an absence of life, but as an essential space to hear you and to find spiritual peace through you, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit —three in one God! Hallelujah! Amen.

1 Kings 19:11-12

11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:

12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

Psalm 62:1

62 Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.

Habakkuk 2:20

20 But the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
