Prayer for April 17th, 2026
Good morning, God —thank you!
You are establishing, restoring, and giving rest to believers. Resolving disputes and finding deep peace, settling us in a designated, secure place. And after we suffer for a little while, you will restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish us. Thank you, Father! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,
12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
