Prayer for May 3rd, 2025
Good morning, God —thank you for this Saturday!
We all face challenges in life that test our faith: conflict in relationships, feelings of hopelessness, etc., but Jesus wants us to stand in victory. He already won the war when he died on the cross and defeated sin. As we wait to reunite with him, we will continue to face battles that require constant vigilance, remembering that Jesus defeated Satan on the cross. I claim this victory, hallelujah!! Amen.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
