Prayer for December 22nd, 2024
Good morning, God —thank you!
Indeed, Noah moved with fear to prepare an ark, but he stepped out in faith because you warned him, and he trusted you, knowing that those who kill the body cannot kill the soul. Sure, he was afraid but still obeyed you because you can destroy both soul and body if we deny you. Thank you, Father, for giving me/your children a second chance through Jesus. Amen.
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
