Prayer for December 21st, 2024
Good Saturday morning, God —thank you!
Like Noah, by faith, your Word warns us of unseen events and to be ready —move with fear. I am an heir of the righteousness that comes by trust in you. I honor you as holy. And with a reverent fear of you, I desire to love you with all my heart and brotherhood. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
