Prayer for December 13th, 2024
Good morning, God —thank you!
Please, let me not observe just anything I hear from people or do the work that they do unless taught by you and your Word. Many do not practice what they preach —still living under the old law. They tie up burdens on others that no one can bear and do deeds to be seen by others. They love to be honored and desire the best seats in the synagogues. I have one teacher: you, God, Father in heaven, and one instructor, Jesus Christ. I am yours, and I am not entitled. Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
