Prayer for December 8th, 2024
Good day, God —thank you for another Sunday!!
You gave your only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life —”a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” May believing hearts and blessings of joy abide within us all —blessings of peace and love. May the grace of the Lord be with everyone at Christmastime and throughout the year, every year. Fill our homes with joy and our hearts with love and laughter. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
