Prayer for December 5th, 2024
Good morning, God —thank you!!
I fear you and desire to keep your commands, which is my role as a believer. Your purpose for us to follow you and your commands is what is and will always be. No man can legitimately create another standard or way of life and call it” the new norm.” I think not. And if anyone follows their ways, then they are not of you, our only God, Creator, and dictator. Life is full of continual change —new and improved technology invented by smart people and inventions of all kinds. Your Word promises that in the end times, man’s intelligence will increase. But you are the one who gives wisdom, understanding, and gifts of creativity. So sure, we adapt by putting you first and foremost to guide us through and not be deceived. I mean, I look what you have done! You are amazing, God!! I’m hanging on to you as Revelation unfolds. That is what normal is to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
6 For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.
17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
