Prayer for August 1st, 2024
Good morning, God —thank you!
I am yours! All believers are your children and people. So, let me act according to your will. You instilled love, joy, peace, hope, good health, long life, and special powers in me and us who trust that. Therefore, let me use my time wisely and take every opportunity to tell others all you have done for me and are doing! You are patient toward everyone, not wishing any should perish but that all reach repentance. Now is the time! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
