Prayer for September 23rd, 2026
Good morning, God, —thank you!
I recognize the daily war between my flesh and your Spirit. Lord, I confess that too often I yield to selfish desires, comfort, and worldly distractions instead of walking in your truth. Please take away every sinful appetite, pride, and impatience in me. Let me not stray away from the things that pull me from your presence. Instead, fill me more with your Holy Spirit. I hunger for your Word, delight in prayer, and desire to walk in obedience to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
