Prayer for August 16th, 2026
Good morning, God —thank you! ☀️
No one knows the day or hour of Jesus’ return, not even the angels in Heaven. Therefore, please help me to live each day with active faith and spiritual alertness rather than spiritual complacency. Continue to do what is right, serving you and others until he returns. Be ready. Thank you, Father! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
