Prayer for August 9th, 2026
Good morning, God —thank you! 🙌🏻
A hunger for your word is a good thing, but human efforts or earthly things are never enough. I thirst for you with an insatiable longing, as it is your grace that provides true fullness and satisfies the human heart. 💞 Thank you, Father! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:
16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.
10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
