Prayer for August 2nd, 2026
Good Sunday morning God βthank you!
Aggressive public quoting scripture out of context is called “Bible blasting,” which is frequently misunderstood because it can be seen as anger instead of love and care. Loud or sudden scripture sharing can be taken as a personal attack rather than a message of hope, as people might feel convicted, defensive, or challenged in their personal beliefs when confronted with spiritual truths. Therefore, the best way to share the good news about Jesus is with fewer words and more kind acts by shining your light.π―οΈ Otherwise, they are likely to run people away from your Kingdom in doubt. Holy Spirit, please, let me always be gentle with my words and do extra good deeds that may be seen through Jesus. Hallelujah! Amen.
15 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
