Prayer for June 6th, 2026

Good morning, God —thank you!

John the Baptist referred to Jesus as “the Lamb of God,” not as a temple sacrifice, but as a reference to the days of Passover and Moses. It was a change in the ministry. He used to tell people that the Messiah was coming. Now, he is here! He was and still is —he’s alive! After his death and resurrection, he remained on earth for 40 days. And during that time, he proved he was physically alive by eating, speaking, and teaching his followers, preparing them to spread his teachings and witness them globally. You have some way about you, God, thank you! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

John 1:36

36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

1 Peter 1:18-19

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Revelation 12:11

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
