Prayer for May 9th, 2026
HaPpy Friday, God —thank you!
Since I have been raised with Christ, I seek the things that are above, where he is, seated at your right hand. Holy Spirit, please help me to set my mind on things above, not things of the earth. I have died, and my life is hidden with Christ in you. When Christ, who is my life, appears, I will also appear with him in glory. Let me put to death what is earthly in me: Thank you! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
