Prayer for April 24th, 2026
Good morning, God—thank you!
Holy Spirit, please help me to keep fervent in your love, because charity covers a multitude of sins. Seek the best for others, forgiving faults, and reflecting the love of Christ. Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. Whoever is generous to the poor gives to you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.
