Prayer for March 23rd,2026

HaPpy Monday, God —thank you!

I desire joy, living, and gaining wisdom over time —with your strength. As we live with gladness, we seldom reflect on the days of our lives. Your word says, though our outward man is perishing, our inward man is renewed day by day. I focus not on physical age but on my eternal spiritual identity. So, when I say optimistically, “I’m forever young,” others joke about it as though I’m defying my age. But on the contrary. I am happy to be alive and look forward to blessed birthdays. People must read all of your Word and not just parts of it, and then they will know that I “satisfieth thy mouth with good things, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” In Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Isaiah 46:4

4 And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Proverbs 16:31

31 The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness.

Ecclesiastes 5:20

20 For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.

Psalm 103:5

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Proverbs 14:30

30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.

James 3:16

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
