Prayer for August 7th, 2025
Dear God —thank you!
All humankind has inherent imperfection and sinfulness. We are never enough. No one is inherently good enough on their own merit to earn your favor. Righteousness is your love and grace, through our faith in Jesus’ resurrection, who gives salvation and makes all believers forgiven and righteous in your sight. Hallelujah!! Amen.
3 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
2 Corinthians 5:21
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Romans 8:1
