Prayer for July 28th, 2025
Good Monday morning, God —thank you!!
Our forgiveness of others should mirror your forgiveness, which is unconditional and freely given. Believers must be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving, just as Christ forgave us. Your love is selfless. Therefore, forgiveness and forbearance within a community are essential, as we extend the same grace and forgiveness we have received from you to others. If they are up to no good, still forgive, but without any strings attached, and move on. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
