Prayer for July 14th, 2025

Good Monday morning, God —thank you!!

Thank you, Father, that you love and guide me and give me discernment. You, let me know when I am right or wrong so I can turn to you, repent, and then move on as we all fall short of your glory. You nudge me to walk away from strife and toxic people, their attacks, constant hypocrisy, harsh self-righteous judgment, and pray for them. Conflict is not from you; it’s quite the contrary. No one is good except for you! However, thank you for filling me with your love and the Holy Spirit, causing me to hate sin, for sending your son, Jesus, to suffer, die, and rise again to forgive me when I do. Thank you, especially for helping me understand that clearly, so I do not negate all that Christ suffered for humanity. That way, I am sure to go to Heaven —such amazing grace! Now, I desire to convey that same love to you and others as you sanctify me day by day —”love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Matthew 7:16-20

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
John 8:7

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Matthew 7:1-6

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
