Prayer for July 6th, 2025
Good morning, God —thank you for another day!!
“It is finished” were the last words Jesus spoke on the cross just before he took his last breath. Meaning, the completion of payment of debts for sins for all humankind was complete, signifying the culmination of his earthly mission and the fulfillment of your plan for salvation. Thank you, Father, for sending your Son, Jesus (you in flesh), to save us from sin. May all lost sheep turn and surrender to you through Jesus: I believe that Jesus is your Son, he died on the cross for my/our sins, and rose again. Thank you for giving us who believe that salvation (eternal life), vitality, joy, and renewed hope because we asked you to forgive and save us. Hallelujah!! Amen.
28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst.
29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a spunge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
