Prayer for July 5th, 2025
Good Saturday morning, God —thank you!
Thank you for making me a cheerful giver. It’s a gift from you. Everything we have is yours! Whoever sows sparingly reaps, and whoever sows bountifully reaps bountifully. But that’s not why I give, I share because I love you as you first loved me. We must give as we have decided in our hearts, not reluctantly or under compulsion. You make grace abound so that, having plenty in things at all times, we may abound in good deeds. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
