Prayer for July 2nd, 2025
Good morning, God —thank you!
Thank you for the beautiful sunshine, for the warmth and light it delivers, and the joy it brings to so many. It’s a symbol of your light and love. A reminder of your love and care for us. I am grateful for your creation and the blessings it provides. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
5 The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.
