Prayer for June 20th, 2025
Good morning, God —thank you for another sunshiny day!!
You set the borders of the universe. You create everything that breathes. You made the earth and the four seasons, including summertime. Thank you, Father, for all the things that summer brings! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
8 Thus hath the Lord God shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
5 He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.
