Prayer for June 1st, 2025
Good morning, God —thank you!!
Please help me engage with the scriptures to refresh, revitalize, and renew my spiritual understanding and relationship with you: read specific verses, pray, meditate on, and study them in depth. Especially passages that resonate with my current needs or circumstances, such as rest, healing, encouragement, etc. Allow your Word to sink into my heart and mind, contemplate their meaning and implications, and explore how each verse relates to other Bible passages to reveal broader themes and truths. Thank you, Father!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
