Prayer for May 9th, 2025
Good Friday morning, God —thank you!!
Please help me to manage my anger and resist the impulse to become aggravated by the actions of others —be angry but “not give place to the devil.” Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
15 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.
