Prayer for May 8th, 2025
Good morning, God —thank you!!
As you know, post-authorities have established a legal system within the USA encompassing many wrongful laws and constitutional principles that are now being restored and secured. Such acts bring punishment and justice, which is taking place. We must obey you rather than men, God. And if a corrupt people have risen against your Biblical standards, we are not to follow their wicked ways. Obey authority, but trust in you. Holy Spirit, please help me to live a life with righteous speech, action, and humility, knowing that I/we believers will be judged by your standards of your law, which ultimately promotes freedom, love, and grace through Jesus, Hallelujah!! Amen.
29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
