Prayer for April 27th, 2025
Good morning, God —thank you!
Solid food is for the mature. Those who can discern rightness train themselves constantly by seeking you more to distinguish good from evil. Like you “are a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Thank you for letting me know right from wrong and giving insight when needed —for seeing the underlying truth through intuitive knowledge. I seek you for more understanding, God. Please shed light on me and wisdom to help solve any problems or steer clear of dangers that lie ahead. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
