Prayer for March 10th, 2025
Good Monday morning, God —thank you!!
We who dwell in your shelter will rest in your shadow. I say of you, Father, you are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust. Surely, you will deliver us from the Fowler snare and the deadly pestilence. You will cover us in your feathers, and we will find refuge under your wing. God, please bless and protect Will as he faces deployment —all men and women who fight for our freedom. May they turn to you for prayer and praise. Help them to be brave and sustain from day to day, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
