Prayer for February 13th, 2025
Good morning, God —thank you! 🙂
We believers must treat others with respect, especially our spouses. Do unto them as we want done to us. After all, that is your second greatest command: to love others how we want to be loved. And the first one is like it: to love you with all our hearts, minds, and souls. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
