Prayer for January 13th, 2024
Good morning, God —thank you for another Monday!
There is no peace like the peace you give —a calming love that surpasses all understanding. Thank you for instilling that peace within me as I keep my mind on you and trust you in this troubled world. Please help the people suffering from the fires in California —the evil and disasters all over the world, God! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
