Prayer for October 21st, 2024
HaPpy Monday, God —thank you!!
I know that you take revenge, and we must leave all wrath to you. It is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” However, us believers should stand up for what is good. Appropriate authorities can alter or abolish anything that does not secure human rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. “Justice is the ethical, philosophical idea that people are to be treated impartially, fairly, properly, and reasonably by the law and arbiters of the law, that laws are to ensure that no harm befalls another.” Where there is alleged harm, they must take remedial action and receive a morally right consequence merited by their actions.” Please, God, protect our rights and our future. Let justice be served soon! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
19 Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
15 It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
