Prayer for October 1st, 2024
HaPpy October, God —thank you!!
Thanksgiving is not far away. I think of love alongside gratitude. What a beautiful thing! When we love unconditionally, a sense of great thankfulness is naturally part of the mix and intertwined with you. The type of love that is all-encompassing. We love because you first loved us. And for that, I am deeply grateful. You emanate our very being as a light of your compassion. You exalted your son, Jesus, to your right hand as leader and savior so that the people of Israel would repent and be forgiven —everyone who surrenders to you, God, hallelujah! Amen.
5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
