Prayer for September 2nd, 2024
Good morning, God —thank you for this Labor Day, USA!! 🙂
I truly believe Jesus is coming soon as I watch the book of Revelation unfold. And when he does, every tongue in heaven and on earth will confess that Jesus is Lord —either willingly, because people have seen your glory and gladly submitted to your/his authority and salvation, or unwillingly because they have denied you as Creator, and Christ as Savior. You have exalted him [Christ] and bestowed on him the name above every name, but many refuse to accept this claim to his authority. Please let all people believe, turn, confess, and not wait too late, God! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
