Prayer for July 19th, 2024
Good morning, God —thank you!!
We will only know some things once you reveal them: when Jesus comes to take us home. But many things are told in the scriptures (the Holy Bible) —breathed out by you, your Word, warnings, and promises for our lives. And when we seek you by prayer, petition, and reading your Word, we gain knowledge, wisdom, and a better understanding of it all: developing an intimate relationship with you, feeling your presence, protection, love, comfort, joy, and peace. When we pray, if we believe you hear us and will answer our prayer, you will, but we may not receive answers when or how we expect to. Please help build my faith and give me patience. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
4 But he answered, “It is written,
“‘Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
