Prayer for May 5th , 2024
Good Sunday morning, God —thank you!
Though I/we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh but against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Nor are my weapons from me but from you. I have your divine power to destroy strongholds, arguments, and lofty opinions that come against you! Please let me take every thought captive to obey you in this ongoing battle —life. You have already won the war!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
