Prayer for May 4th, 2024
Good morning, God, my/our Creator —thank you!
You have given me a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness! And I want to be hapPy! Therefore, I continually worship you, the only true God! You call me to live out my faith amid this evil world, shining your light as I tell the good news about Jesus —as far and wide as possible! Not only for you or me but for the sake of our children, grandchildren, and all who are to follow. Give me strength of mind and heart. Thank you, Father!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
