Prayer for May 2nd, 2024
Good Thursday morning, God —thank you for another day!!
Nothing is hidden from you; you are everywhere, and no one can hide. You know everything. Therefore, when I defend myself and seek justice, I do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with you while vengeance is yours. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Ephesians 5:11
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
