Prayer for April 24th, 2024
Good Wednesday morning, God —thank you!!
When distressed, please help me look to you and your unchanging nature, not hold on to doubt by believing the devil’s lies —cling to you, not man. Let me fear not because you are with me. I lay all my troubles at the foot of the cross and give them all to you! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
