Prayer for April 23rd, 2024
Good morning, God —thank you!!
Holy Spirit, please let me not think one thing critically and speak another, but love, in deed and truth. You listen to my heart, not what rolls from my tongue.❤ Help me not to judge, or I, too, will be judged —see the good in others, not encourage one to come around knowing they are weak only to act in instant judgment. But do unto them as I would want done unto me, as that is your second greatest command. Thank you, Father! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
7 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
22 Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
