Prayer for April 21st, 2024
Good morning, God —thank you!!
When I feel stuck, set back, and discouraged, I run to you, perhaps without words. I need you, Father! For you are faithful, compassionate, and merciful towards me/us. When I am a mess, you see me as part of your beautiful creation with specific purpose and gifts. Thank you for the friend I have in Jesus —there for me/believers in every way —our provider, healer, and defender. So be it (Amen).
16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
