Prayer for September 15th’ 2023
Good morning, God —thank you!!
When I pray, let me not heap up empty phrases only to be heard for my many words; yet with faith, pray without ceasing. And if I am overwhelmed and don’t know what to pray, your Spirit will intercede for me with powerful prayer and groanings too deep for words. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
17 Pray without ceasing.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
