Prayer for September 14th’ 2023
Good morning, God —thank you!!
Believers have a common bond of unity in Christ with you (the Holy Spirit) indwelling in us. Therefore, this means we can not only love other followers but to please you, we must choose to love them. That is a new commandment that you gave to us: that we love one another just as you have loved us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
