Prayer for September 1st’ 2023
Good Friday morning, God —thank you for a new day!!
We believers must pray with expected results even though the enemy has a plan of attack against everything we pray for, trying to oppose Your Kingdom. He knows he is defeated even though we get constantly bombarded with attacks (physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, relational, financial, etc.). But we must be bold and know how to pray against his obvious onslaught of devious schemes for our demise. When we stand up and resist the devil, he will flee. We have your divine power to demolish strongholds. With faith, nothing can stop us! You place a hedge of protection around us to keep us from the enemy’s attack —on us and those we pray for. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?
24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
