Good morning, God —thank you!
My salvation depended solely on my belief in your son’s suffering and resurrection, Jesus Christ. By your grace, I am saved through faith. And as I continually seek you, it builds my trust because I can feel your presence at work in me. You comfort me. Assurance that I am truly your child keeps growing. The more I feel your love, the more I want to help you make me —to be more like Jesus in obedience to you. If asked, “how do I know that the Holy Spirit lives in me?” I reply: trust me, you will know as you change from death to life. Hallelujah!! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
