Good morning, God —thank you!!
Before Jesus took his last breath on the cross, he said, “it is finished.” —not finish. Otherwise, what would be the point of his coming? He consumed the cup of your wrath through his blood and suffering and bridged the gap between you and sinful men. Without a doubt, I know that I am righteous because of him, not my own doing. I am saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore, let me never condemn or feel condemned for what Jesus has covered, or I negate his sacrifice and my salvation. We’ve got to have faith in Jesus. Amen.
30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
