Prayer for February 4th’ 2023
Good Saturday morning, God —thank you!!
As a witness to what you have done for me firsthand, I am zealous to share the gospel. Eager to shine* as I tell the good news about Jesus —tell it in love.❤ In the right place, at the right time, humbly, so I am sure not to run anyone from your Kingdom. I want to disclose that love, joy, peace, and hope I found in you —the wisdom and knowledge you bring. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
