Prayer for February 1st’ 2023
HaPpy February, God —thank you!!
All followers of Christ are up against warfare. But the weapons of our war have divine power to destroy all strongholds —every argument or lofty opinion that goes against your knowledge. Therefore, Holy Spirit, please help me to take every thought captive in obedience to you as I wrestle “against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” and their lies. Let me stand in faith, dressed in your Armor, while you fight for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
